This web site is good in the sense that there are many variety of subjects available... its online lecture is also clear and it is fast at streaming. But the downside is, its does not have an interactive programs or exercise to allow practices and secure understanding.

4th post
Introduction to a new program called audacity. it is a program that enable us to play around with sound files and also record our voice. we are going to need to apply this program in our powerpoint slides which later be converted into breeze. it is a very interesting program, i can freely alter my voice, but i can foresee that this program might be one of the most tedious one i'll be using. i will need to pace my voice throughout the presentation of the slides which is very tedious.

3rd post
We were told to do around 8 slides on Overview of apel, things to include are interactive games created by hot potatoe, and using audacity to record our voices as narrator, to guides users through the slides. Our lecturer kept emphasizing the point that we should have and open mind and let our creative juice flow while creating the game.

2nd post
its my fourth lesson on EELD. Was late for 40 mins.... When i reached, the rest have already started using hot potatoe to create different games... today is basically for us to experience hot potatoe~! its fun, though one must be good and resourceful at hunting for HTML source codes to make the game more vibrant. Games to be created are crosswords, close passages, mix, match and quiz. i also got my apel topic 6 notes which means im able to start my slides proper finally.

1st post.
During the first lesson of EELD, i was introduced to what this subject is about. Our lecturer is Ms Roselind Nah, to introduce this subject, she showed us some presentations, that by the end of this course, we would too be able to create. The presentation includes an interesting rotating car, its and other animation. The following are the programs we will be exposed to, Hot Potatoe (to create crossword puzzles and other simple games), Breeze (a program which will convert/merge powerpoint slides with audio and video files), Microsoft PowerPoint which require no introduction, Audacity (a program which will allow us to play with sound file) and Flash (animation program). Our objective in this course is to produce a E-learning package. And also, we got into groups to Brainstorm on the defination of E-learning, basically means to learn via the internet, standalone computers and other media sources.
